Verification Process

How we verify identities, properties, and businesses on LandlordCheck.

Identity Verification

Users submit a government-issued ID and a selfie. Documents are cross-checked for authenticity.

Property Ownership Verification

Landlords provide title deeds or municipal utility bills matching the property address.

Property Management Authority

Agents and property managers submit mandate letters or management agreements.

Contractor Credential Verification

Contractors upload trade certifications, business registration, and insurance documents.

Business Verification

Companies submit CIPC registration documents and proof of banking.

Review & Approval

Our verification team reviews submissions within 3–5 business days. Approved profiles receive a verification badge.

Verification badges expire annually. We send reminders 30, 14, and 7 days before expiry. Expired verifications are clearly marked on profiles.
